Career Cafe Updates

This week at FGC, we hosted two great speakers at Career Cafe. Officer Jerry Schwartz and Dr. Mark Rothstein visited our school to share their knowledge and expertise within their professions.  Over 70 students attended one of the two sessions and enjoyed asking both speakers in depth questions about their daily work as well as getting to pass around and examine an interactive 3-Dimensional eye and a police badge.

Kindness Counts Campaign!

This week, we completed our school wide Kindness Counts Campaign.  Students were encouraged to participate in 25 acts of kindness over the last few weeks, as well as created a watercolor heart and writing activity about their favorite way to demonstrate kindness.  Thanks to the help of several parent volunteers, our commons area beautifully displays the kindness of our FGC Students and Staff.
